Lead UI on france.tv, France Télévisions’ streaming platform: leading the UI team and its delivery for clearer, more consistent interfaces.

(01)The context
france.tv brings together live and catch-up TV from France Télévisions channels, plus exclusive programmes. It is the digital front door of French public broadcasting, on web, mobile and TV.
Working directly with the Product, Tech and Design teams, my role was to lead and structure the UI team to streamline delivery, while ensuring consistency with the brand and the design system.
(02)The challenge
Making a huge catalogue easy to explore, for an audience from teenagers to grandparents, without slowing the teams down.
(03)The approach
- 01OrganiseClear workflows in Jira and Figma, team rituals (design reviews, weeklies, retrospectives), workload tracking and prioritisation of UI topics.
- 02DesignFrom wireframes to high-fidelity mockups, with close tracking of every product increment and shared guidelines.
- 03UniteStay in sync with the brand, the design system and the product teams, and take part in framing to anticipate the next cycles.

(05)The results
A structured UI team, smoother delivery and a platform that is more consistent from screen to screen.
What I took away: on a mass-market platform, simplicity is a team effort. It depends as much on how the team is organised as on the rigour of the screens.

Alongside this, as a freelancer I designed the making-of website for season 3 of the series “Call My Agent!” (Dix pour cent), in partnership with a major beauty brand: art direction, mobile and desktop web design, and display formats to promote the campaign.
